TAMPA, FL – This Saturday, October 1, the Event Development Institute (EDI) and the Tampa Bay Sports Commission will again showcase many of Tampa Bay’s top tier tailgating food options at the third annual Tampa Bay’s Tailgate Taste Fest presented by Coca-Cola Beverages Florida. Hosted at Curtis Hixon Park, festivities will begin at 3 p.m. and continue through 10:30 p.m.
Taking place during the heart of the college football season, Tailgate Taste Fest will entertain guests with live, in-game action, live music and several of the best sliders, chicken, barbecue and small plate food options in Tampa.
In total, 18 restaurants will participate in the event. Additionally, Tailgate Taste Fest will be highlighted by a series of family-friendly events taking place throughout the park. Attendees can participate in activations from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning, University of South Florida Athletics as well as Coca-Cola Beverages Florida. A 16-team cornhole tournament will also begin at 4 p.m.
Live musical acts will rotate throughout the evening as Charlie Hotel, Trigger City Trio and Forrest Hoffar will entertain the crowd. Meanwhile, two large LED screens will broadcast incredible college football action throughout the event.
