TAMPA, FL – The third annual Tampa Bay’s Tailgate Taste Fest Presented by Coca-Cola Beverages Florida and produced by the Event Development Institute, a free, family-friendly event which took place on Saturday, October 1, at Curtis Hixon Park, saw thousands of tailgate fans enjoy live entertainment, exciting college football match-ups as well as a robust 17-restaurant lineup.
Spectators enjoyed food selections from four categories including sides, sliders, chicken and barbecue (view full list of winners). Meanwhile, Charlie Hotel, Trigger City Trio and Forrest Hoffar rocked the stage for the entirety of the event. Fans also enjoyed interactive activations from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Lightning, Storm, USF Bulls, Valspar Championship and Coca-Cola Beverages Florida.
EDI partner and social media tech leaders, Thuzi, brought the event to life with a photo/voting booth and Bud Light captured the attention of fans with their thirst-quenching “Build-A-Bar”. The night was topped-off with five thrilling football games as fans watched nail bitters between Florida State vs. North Carolina, Tennessee vs. Georgia, Wisconsin vs. Michigan, Louisville vs. Clemson and USF vs. Cincinnati.
